Taxation is course which covers the entire study of principles of accounting, financial planning and economic theory along with a specialized focal point on taxation which is termed as a process of striking financial charge that is on the citizens who earn ‘taxable’ income. In other words, Taxation is a degree program in which, apart from a particular course study in Commerce, the primary focus is on the logical study of the concepts in the specialized subjects and topics related to the fields of taxation and covers all types of taxes including Income tax, Sales Tax, VAT, Service tax, Property tax and vice versa and taxation laws and regulations.
Basic Eligibility:
UG:
The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing in Taxation degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized board of the country.
PG:Students must have studied and passed in any one of the subjects which includes Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics or Mathematics at intermediate level. Some of the reputed universities and institutes demand a minimum of 50% marks in the above subjects at 10+2 level or PUC.
