Statistics is the Science of successfully exploiting numerical data associated to group of experiments or individuals. Statistics, maths, quantitative analysis and data interpretation are the subjects studied under this course.

It enables the statisticians and the economists to predict the demographic patterns, business trends, and market behavior. The person who specializes in this program is known as statistician who collect, verify and understand the data use it to solve the issues in that field. The different branches of statistics contains crime statistics, tourism statistics, census statistics, election statistics, medical statistics, cricket statistics, oil statistics, job-seekers statistics, labor statistics, and accident statistics.

Eligibility criteria:

Candidate must have passed their higher secondary school certificate examination or 10+2 with the science subject (biology, maths and chemistry) for taking admission in bachelor’s degree. The course duration is 3 years.

For admission into master’s degree candidate must have completed their bachelor's degree with science subjects (biology, Physics and chemistry). The duration of this course is 2 years.
