Polymer Engineering Courses in India
Polymer Engineering is an undergraduate course which has lead to creation of lots of employment opportunities for talented engineers Polymer Engineering uses the theory and knowledge of chemical engineering to solve various problems involving the production and use of polymers. This field generally design analysis or modify polymer materials. Polymer engineers use the principal of plant design, process design, thermodynamics and transport phenomenon to develop new products. Polymer engineering covers aspects of petrochemical industry, polymerization, structure and characterization of polymers, properties of polymers, compounding and processing of polymers and description of major polymers.
B. Tech: Candidate who have completed his Higher Secondary Education or the Indian School Certificate (Std. XII) Examination or any other equivalent Higher Secondary examination with science ( Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) are eligible for pursuing B.E./B.Tech in Polymer Engineering
