This is the very popular engineering stream because the demand of CS engineers is very high. Under this filed comes software designing, software implementation, management of information system of both software and hardware process. The subjects are as follows computer architecture and organization, database system, electronics, operating system, Networking, Fundamental of Computer Systems, Java Programming and website designing, E-commerce & ERP and Multimedia Applications.

This is the field of computer hardware and software. The study of computer their basic design, how the computer work, how they process and store the data, work and features of hardware and software are teach in this course. For this course student must have strong command on math because all the programming in the computer is based on mathematic calculation so it is also compulsory. This course is very job oriented course because any industry either IT or other can’t be established without computer department. This department handles all the computer related work like website designing for that industry, software designing and maintaining, hardware maintaining etc.


B. Tech: Candidate should passed 10+2 from any recognized board/university with minimum 45% marks (marks depends on institute).

M. Tech:After B Tech in computer engineering candidates can do M Tech in computer engineering. To take admission in M tech candidates should have to complete their B Tech with good marks.

Admission Procedure:
The admission in mostly all the colleges is based on state level competitive exam. Some college can also provides direct admission based on the marks of candidates. Some autonomous colleges take their own entrance test separately.

Career Prospects:

Candidate can work in Computer hardware and Software, database management, Telecommunication, web designing, Game designing, embedded System. After doing this course candidate can work almost all industry because today all industry has its own computer department.
