Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC 2012-13

Govt of national Capital Territory of Delhi, Dept for the welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Minority announce for the Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC 2012-13. Applications are invited form Eligible candidate who are pursuing education from class 1st to 10th. in Govt/Aided Schools/ Institute or Private School/Institute recognized by approved authority, public school affiliated to Directorate of Education/ Kendriya Vidyalaya/ National Open School/Schools affiliated to NDMC/Municipal Corporation of Delhi/Delhi Cantonment Board for awarding Pre-Metric scholarship. This scholarship is specially for other Backward Classes having domicile of NCT of Delhi.

Eligibility : This scholarship is awarded to those candidate whose Parents / Guardians annual income doesn't exceed Rs 44, 500 from all sources.

Scholarship's amount will be credited to student personal bank account. If student will get benefits from this program/grant then S/he will not be able to claim for any other pre-metric scholarship scheme. During the course of studies, candidate may not be allowed to take up employment of under help to parents in their work. If Student fails to secure annual promotion then this scheme will be discontinued except in case of unavoidable reasons to be certified by the competent authority of the scheme.

Scholar may be suspended from the scholarship, if student violates school discipline or any other terms and conditions of the scholarship. During the course of academic year, students are not allowed to migrate from one institute to another one irrespective of any unexceptional reason. Students should have to maintain the attendance regularity.

Amount : I to V Rs 750/- (Rs 250/- for days scholar for 10 months + Rs 500/-)

III to VII Rs 2500/- (Rs 2000/- for hostler for 10 months + Rs 500/-)

VI to VIII Rs 900/- (Rs 400/- for days scholar for 10 months + Rs 500/-)

IX to X Rs 3000/- (Rs 2500/- for hostler for 10 months + Rs 500/-)

IX to X Rs 1000/- (Rs 500/- for days scholar for 10 months + Rs 500/-)

Eligible and interested students can apply for the Pre metric Scholarship 2012-13 OBC after downloading application form from website.

Last date of submission – 15 th September 2012
