MAT entrance exam is conducted since 1988 to speed business school to monitor students taking admission in MBA courses or related programmes. It was considered as the national level test in the year 2003 by government of India.

MAT score given to the candidates for taking admission in MBA is considered by any national or international business school. This test is a passport for the candidates who desire to take admission in any business school across India. Management Aptitude Test for admission in different management courses is conducted by The All India Management Association (AIMA).Any one wish to see themselves in the best colleges for MBA across the globe then, the MAT examination which is conducted four times in a year that is January, May, September and December is the way towards their goal.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the MAT, the Students must be Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year students in any undergraduate Courses (i.e. B.A, B.SC, B.COM, B.Tech etc) can also apply.

Mode of Test:

Candidate can choose any one of the two options to take the MAT test either the Paper Based Test or Computer Based Test.

How to Apply for MAT exam:

• Candidates could either obtain form with the MAT Bulletin/CD against the cash payment of RS 1200 from the listed branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis, listed study centers of AIMA or from AIMA, New Delhi itself.

OR

• Candidates can obtain a crossed DD of RS 1200 in the favor of ‘All India Management Association' which is payable at Delhi from any bank.

• Candidates could also apply Online at website link:: by giving all details of their Demand Drafts.

MAT Registration Form Acknowledgement:

The registration forms received at AIMA are scanned within 3 days and the form numbers are displayed on the website. While inspecting the application form if it is found in order then it is registered. Registration form received after the due date then it directly rejected .Any mail or message will not be entertained in this regard nor the fee is refundable.

Admit Card for MAT:

  • Admit card can be downloaded from AIMA website one week before paper based test date for both paper based and computer based registered candidates.
  • For computer based test candidates need to choose the date and time as per their availability. If they fail to choose the time slot four days before computer based test then automatically the time and date will be allotted to the candidate an under no circumstances the change for date and time will be entertained.
  • Admit Card contains Candidate's Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to him/her in the case of Computer Based Test.

(Note: Separate Admit Card will be issued to any candidates.)
