CTET exam Online Application introduced by CBSE

Good news for the candidates who are appearing for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test September 2014 (CTET September 2014) as now they can apply online for this exam from this year that is introduced by online application Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Last date to submit the online application of the CTET September 2014 is Monday, August 4, 2014. This application process has started from Tuesday, July 15, 2014 to Wednesday, August 6, 2014. As per the CBSE statement, the candidates can submit their application for this at CTET website www.ctet.nic.in. To apply for this exam online the candidates needs to fill the application form, upload the required documents, pay the examination fee and then print the confirmation page which is needed for future reference.

The candidates have to note that the status and particulars of applicants whose fees can be received by Tuesday, August 12, 2014. If any correction is to be made in particular can only be made from Tuesday, August 12 to Tuesday, August 19, 2014. The candidates can download their admit cards from Friday, August 22, 2014.

The examination is to be conducted on Sunday, September 21, 2014. The Paper I is going to be held on 9.30 am to 12 noon and Paper II will be held on from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.

The CTET examination is based on objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There are no negative marks. The Paper I is meant for the candidates who are applying for teachers positions for I to V. Whereas the Paper II is meant for candidates aspiring for teachers positions for Classes VI to VIII. The candidates who are aspiring for these positions at both the levels need to appear for the both of the papers.

This CTET certification lets you gain employment as a teacher for Classes I to VIII in any school which is run by the Central Government of India as per the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) guidelines. The candidates can apply for teacher job for any CBSE-affiliated school after qualifying this exam on the basis of CTET or the specific tests which is conducted by individual states. The candidates who clears this CTET exam can get placement as primary level teachers for Classes I to V or junior level teachers for Classes VI to VIII.

The last installment of CTET was held on Sunday, February 16, 2014 and the result of it was declared on Friday, March 21, 2014.
